I had the PLEASURE to be touched by an Angel today!!
I was contacted by Tasha Dangerfield a few weeks ago for the routine picture chat.
A few days passed and she emailed me saying " I need your help". That is when I was introduced to Miss Trinity Schley. Trinity born on October 31, 2004 and at 3 months of age her mom Teosha along with other family members got the diagnosis that little Trinity was blind. She was diagnosed with a VERY RARE condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Doctors here in the United States could not do anything to cure Trinity however in China there was a procedure using Stem Cells that would give Trinity sight!! Currently Trinity's family is on a MISSION!! YOu can see her Mom Teosha and family friend ( and a GREAT admirer of Trinity) Tasha pounding the pavement and giving AT&T business by spreading the word about Trinity. Trinity has made television apperances, radio broadcast, and editorials with her mission!! Ok I guess I have to comment first!! Yayyyy me!! Today was such a blessing..We take so much for granted in this day and age..but this one child reminded me of the simple things that mean sooo much. When I saw the photos..i was in tears because this is who Trinity really is. She doesn't live like she has a disability. She grasps life in every sense. The first photo is so much of what we as humans miss.."stop and smell the roses". Taking this photo was so funny to us because she was discovering this flower and what to do with it. It was a wonderful moment for me..and to see it come to life on this page...ahh.. means so much to me..I can't wait for the moment when she can see the flowers.
What a beautiful little girl!! I will be keeping Trinity in my good thoughts and prayers!

I am in tears. You are right - she is an angel. Plus, she is GORGEOUS! I had no clue she was blind until I read what you wrote. Her smile is contagious and breathtaking. I will pray for her and please let us know how her surgery goes. Peace.

What a beautiful lil girl! I was almost in tears, then I read Tasha's comment, and I couldn't hold them back! It's little things that our kids do everyday that we take for granted, little things that we overlook that mean the most. What a strong momma to have to go through all this! Our prayers are with you and your family Trinity... God bless!
