Brady and I met for a quick Mini Session on the Campus of LSU at the residence of Mike the Tiger. You cant tell by the pictures but it was a MEAN 31 degrees out today!! Brady I will see you soon!!

I am so often asked questions I decided to post a few here along with my most given answers.

1. How long have you been a photographer? My love for photography began when I was 8 years old and was given a compack Kodak camera. I thought it was cool because the negatives came back as round disks. I officially began to pursue my love many years later after the birth of my daughter Jhayce. She is 7.5 years old. My first professional assignment was with Baby Gassy Gooma and I have not stopped since.

2. What type of camera do you have? I shoot with a Canon 50d and on long days I break out my Canon Rebel XT as back up.

3. What is your favorite lens? My favorite lense is my 50mm 1.8. I actually own 3 of them. I can never seems to part with my equipment.

4. Do you shoot studio? Yes and no. I shoot mainly on location however I can bring my studio equipment to you. I have recently decided to open a home studio...stay tuned for progress. I hope to have my home studio complete by early May.

5. How do you get the smallest of children to interact with you and the camera? Simply stated I acted a FOOL. I make noises sing songs and Im not afraid to get dirty. I spend close to 1.5 hour maybe 2 on sessions with younger children. We break for lunch, bathroom/diaper, and for our sanity.

6. Do you interact with Modeling Agencies? No, but often I have designers who are independently owned contact me because of our past boutique modeling. They do inquire about the children on the site ( who have official model releases). I think next to Khaleb and Jhayce , Isabella S. is our most popular!! 7. Where are you located? I am located in Baton Rouge, LA however I do shoot in various parishes and states. Just email for details!

8.Do you shoot weddings? No, I do however shoot engagements and bridals.

9.Do you shoot births? Yes, I do prior to the shoot we will map out the actual shots and length of the shoot. Miss Xyla C. featured on the blog was a 7 hour long shoot complete with documentative photography from start to finish.

Ok so when asked to do this campaignI was excited. Not only does Be Be Au Lait make the cutest bibs and towels but they also support breastfeeding moms which is as you all know is a PLUS in my book. I absolutely LOVED their site!! The most fantastic part of all is there is no velcro, no ties, its all ONE HANDED magnetic closures. And get this.. you buy ONE bib and it can be worn up to 4 ways!! Childish Couture: Meet Trinity Schley

I had the PLEASURE to be touched by an Angel today!!
I was contacted by Tasha Dangerfield a few weeks ago for the routine picture chat. A few days passed and she emailed me saying " I need your help". That is when I was introduced to Miss Trinity Schley. Trinity born on October 31, 2004 and at 3 months of age her mom Teosha along with other family members got the diagnosis that little Trinity was blind. She was diagnosed with a VERY RARE condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Doctors here in the United States could not do anything to cure Trinity however in China there was a procedure using Stem Cells that would give Trinity sight!! Currently Trinity's family is on a MISSION!! YOu can see her Mom Teosha and family friend ( and a GREAT admirer of Trinity) Tasha pounding the pavement and giving AT&T business by spreading the word about Trinity. Trinity has made television apperances, radio broadcast, and editorials with her mission!! Childish Couture: {Family}

So I've been mentioning nostalgia. Today the Brown family paid me a visit. You may remember baby Eryn (who isnt much of a baby anymore).

Eryn brought her mommy and aunts along and even got her uncle to take a picture!!! I could see in their laughs and eye contact that warranted NO words that they had stories that extended to "Back in the Day" that only they could understand.
